Script Downloads, Presentations and Writing Samples

The content below is a selection of all the projects where I could claim I was the lead writer or script editor. I have worked on many more and if you are looking for something written, these are a good plae to start to see my style and ability. I primarily write horror/crime.

Fear Paris Scripts

Over the three years development of this film I wrote a lot of drafts and edits of this film. (over 100) We originally started with 10 stories, but as production progressed (often regressed) and went off on tangents the drafts changed considerably. I have uploaded a few of my favourites these to show the difference.

If you are going to try sell a film you also need a press/presale kit for film markets and media outlets. Below is one of many I designed for Fear Paris.

If you fancy a quick read of the individual stories on their own without all the story links. I have ripped them into smaller junks to download.

Bear Trap Scripts

Bear Trap was one of the last films I wrote. It was a micro budget thriller set in the snowy mountains of Montana.

I don't consider it my best work, but certainly my fastest turn around from concept to production script. (Two months) Again I have so many revisions of this script. It needed longer, but there is some good stuff in there.

The Arctic

The Arctic was a German/UK/Chinese co production that was going to be the starting film in a huge international collaboration. The producers and money were coming from China as was the script. Filming and tax breaks in Europe.

What they gave us to work with was a 50 page mess of illegible Pidgeon English. I accepted the job to make sense and decipher the story without changing or adding anything outside the established story. I had a deadline of 3 days.

The two downloads here show the script they gave me and the work i submitted 3 days later. Obviously its raw, but gives you an example of how fast I can work and adapt.

Shill: The Money, The Mouth, The Muscle

Another project (still) stuck in development hell, I took what was an interesting, but very long and bloated story and turned it into a really fun crime caper.

It's a mostly true story about a group of hustlers attempting to launder a $100m in ill gotten gains, whilst trying to evade the police and not upset too many gangsters. I was a little tied down to what I could and couldn't change about the story so there are things in there that just seem out of place.
